GigBroker Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 2, 2026
1) Overview

PBSMobile, LLC (“PBSMobile,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides GigBroker, GigBroker Mobile, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use GigBroker.

GigBroker is a multi-organization platform. Most users belong to one organization. Each participating organization may control or administer business records about its events, contacts, personnel, vendors, venues, customers, assignments, and operations. Depending on the context, PBSMobile may act as a service provider or processor for an organization and may also process information for our own account administration, security, support, and legal purposes.

2) Information we collect
2.1 Account and authentication information
  • Name, email address, username, password credentials in protected form, account status, and account identifiers.
  • Organization access, user roles, permissions, entity links, approval status, and language preferences.
  • Login, token, session, remembered-login, device, and security information.
2.2 Profile, contact, and organization information
  • Display name, business or stage name, role, title, biography, photograph, avatar, phone number, and address when provided.
  • Musician, performer, vendor, staff, planner, venue, customer, prospect, contact, or other organization-related profile information.
  • Organization name, branding, settings, membership, and administrator-managed access records.
2.3 Event and scheduling information
  • Event titles, codes, types, dates, times, time zones, venues, addresses, contacts, schedules, notes, parking, load-in, and operational instructions.
  • Offers, availability, responses, assignments, bookings, confirmations, declines, status history, roles, rates, terms, and participant records.
  • Personal calendar events you create, including title, date, time, all-day status, and notes.
2.4 Communications and alerts
  • In-app alerts, read and hidden status, delivery information, and links to related records.
  • Support requests, emails, feedback, troubleshooting information, and communications with PBSMobile or organization administrators.
  • Messages, comments, documents, or other communications when those features are enabled.
2.5 Financial and business information
  • Rates, compensation terms, categories, accounts, ledger entries, expenses, payment-related notes, and other business records when entered by an authorized organization.
  • GigBroker may store operational financial information, but this does not necessarily mean PBSMobile processes payments or holds funds.
2.6 Technical and usage information
  • IP address, device and operating-system information, app version, language, timestamps, request logs, diagnostic data, and error information.
  • Feature usage, page activity, refresh activity, and actions taken in the service when needed for operation, security, support, or improvement.
3) How we collect information
  • Directly from you when you create or update an account, respond to offers, create personal events, contact support, or use the service.
  • From the organization that invites, employs, contracts with, books, manages, or otherwise works with you.
  • From authorized users who create events, assignments, contacts, venues, schedules, notes, or records.
  • Automatically from the app, website, servers, devices, and security systems.
  • From service providers that help us operate communications, hosting, security, diagnostics, or related functions.
4) How we use information
  • Provide login, organization access, branding, roles, menus, Home summaries, Offers, Event Details, Calendar, Personal Events, Alerts, and other GigBroker features.
  • Process responses, assignments, confirmations, schedules, status changes, and organization workflows.
  • Send operational notices, password-reset messages, event-related alerts, and support communications.
  • Authenticate users, enforce permissions, separate organization data, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, and protect accounts and systems.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, test, and improve performance, reliability, usability, and accessibility.
  • Comply with legal obligations, preserve records, enforce agreements, and respond to lawful requests.
  • Protect the rights, safety, property, and integrity of PBSMobile, organizations, users, and others.
5) Organization access and sharing

Information entered for an organization may be available to that organization's authorized administrators, planners, employees, contractors, and other users according to their roles and permissions. For example, an administrator may see event assignments and responses, while a performer may see only events connected to that performer.

If you change organizations or lose access, the organization may continue to retain business records involving you, such as past events, confirmations, rates, communications, or accounting records, subject to law and its retention obligations.

6) How we disclose information
  • Organizations and authorized users: to operate events, assignments, schedules, contacts, and business workflows.
  • Service providers: to providers supporting hosting, storage, email, security, diagnostics, backups, mapping, and other operational functions.
  • Professional advisers: to lawyers, accountants, insurers, auditors, and consultants when reasonably necessary.
  • Legal and safety purposes: to comply with law, court orders, lawful requests, or to investigate and prevent harm, fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, sale, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
  • With your direction or consent: when you ask us to share information or authorize a connection.
7) Sale, sharing, and advertising

PBSMobile does not sell personal information for money. GigBroker is not designed to provide cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices materially change, we will update this Policy and provide choices required by applicable law.

8) Personal calendar information

Personal events are intended to be associated with the account that creates them and are not ordinary organization events. PBSMobile personnel and technical administrators may access such records when reasonably necessary for support, security, legal compliance, backup, recovery, or service operation. Do not place highly sensitive personal information in event titles or notes.

9) Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain organization business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal, tax, accounting, employment, contractual, security, and backup requirements, and protect users and systems. Different categories may have different retention periods.

Deleting an account does not necessarily delete organization-controlled records that an organization is legally or operationally entitled to retain, including event history, assignment records, financial records, security logs, and records needed to document completed transactions or engagements.

10) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These can include authentication, role-based access, organization separation, encryption in transit, protected credential handling, logging, backups, and access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11) Your choices and rights

Depending on your relationship, location, and applicable law, you may be able to:

  • Review or update account and profile information.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Request access to or a copy of certain personal information.
  • Request deletion of certain information, subject to legal and organization recordkeeping exceptions.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
  • Appeal certain privacy-request decisions where applicable.
  • Complain to an applicable privacy authority.

Organization-controlled records should normally be addressed first to the relevant organization. You may also contact PBSMobile using the information below. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

12) Account deletion

You may request deletion of your GigBroker account from the account-management or deletion function made available in the app or service, or by contacting support@pbsmobile.com. We will explain any information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, contractual, tax, accounting, or organization recordkeeping purposes.

13) California privacy information

California residents may have rights under applicable California privacy laws, including rights to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information and to receive information about collection, use, and disclosure. PBSMobile does not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right. Some laws apply only when statutory coverage thresholds are met, and exemptions may apply to organization, employment, contractor, business-contact, security, and transaction records.

14) Children's privacy

GigBroker is intended for adults involved in professional or business event activity and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly permit children to create accounts. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through GigBroker.

15) International use

GigBroker is operated from the United States. If you use it from another country, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other locations where service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

16) Third-party services

Device platforms, app stores, email providers, mapping providers, websites, and other third-party services may collect information under their own policies. This Policy applies to PBSMobile's practices, not independent third parties.

17) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the service, law, or our practices. The effective date identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice when required.
